Boxing NSW Junior Sparring
Great opportunity for BNSW members to get involved in JUNIOR ( 10-16yo) development sparring that is being rolled out during 2nd half of this year.
Why:
It’s always difficult for younger boxers to secure competition bouts with big gaps in ages and weights etc, so this BNSW initiative will help bridge the gap with the opportunity for sparring with similar age & experienced boxers fully supervised and s
What :
Sparring rounds with multiple opponents, conducted under the supervision & instruction of their home coaches and coordinated by BNSW representatives. All sparring to be conducted in 16oz gloves, headgears & mouth-guards.
Rounds will typically be 2mins in duration.
Who :
Boxers registered with BNSW (Boxers registered interstate also welcome - will need to send nominations to Joel Keegan) between ages of 10-16yo. Nominations MUST be made online using the BNSW events page - no turn ups on the day!!!
When : To be held in conjunction with the weigh in for BNSW tournaments , starting with :
June 28 @ Cabramatta PCYC - 2-4pm
July 26 @ Team Lantry gym - 1-3pm
